Plan Your Visit

Whether its your first time at the Symphony, or a long time pro, you will find a number of resources to enhance your RCO experience. If you have any questions, please contact us.

When Should I arrive?

Doors open 45 minutes in advance of RCO classical concerts. We recommend you arrive at least 30 minutes prior to the start of the performance. This will allow you time to find parking and to find your seat. Once the concert begins, patrons cannot be seated until the conclusion of the first work on the program. Please refer to the Late Seating Policy below for details.

When do I clap?

It is customary that the audience clap at the completion of the entire symphony. This allows the orchestra and conductor to maintain a certain concentration between movements. If you’re not sure, just wait until the rest of the audience begins clapping.

What should I wear?

You will see a wide variety of attire at Clock Auditorium Hall, including suits, khakis, jeans and skirts. Generally, business casual is a good way to go.

May I bring my children?

We recommend five years and up. Children of all ages are welcome at Clock Auditorium. Any children under five must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Patrons of any age disturbing other concertgoers may be asked to leave.

Where do I park?

Redlands High School offers several parking lots in the vicinity of Clock Auditoirum. Click here for a map, directions, and more information.

How long are the performances?

Most performances are about an hour and a half, including a 15-minute intermission.

General Information:

Cameras and recording devices are distracting for the performers and audience members. Audio and video recording, and photography during the concert, are strictly prohibited. Patrons are welcome to take photos before the concert, during intermission, and after the concert. Smoking is not permitted.

Late Seating policy:

Latecomers cannot be seated until after the conclusion of the first work on the program. Late seating is not guaranteed for all programs. Patrons who leave the hall before or during a work will be reseated at the conclusion of the work.
