Orchestra 2013

Orchestra 2013

The new Redlands Community Orchestra will perform its inaugural concert from 3-5pm November 10 at Redlands High School’s Clock Auditorium. The performance will feature Tchaikovsky’s Capriccio Italien. Op. 45, Brahms’ Academic Festival Overture, Op. 80, and Beethoven’s Symphony No. 8 in F Major, Op. 93 and will be conducted by James Benanti. The concert is free of charge and family friendly. No tickets are necessary.

The Redlands Community Orchestra was founded in September 2013 as an outlet for amateur musicians in the Redlands area to play orchestral music together for fun. It is an independent, all-volunteer community organization which seeks to share the joy of music-making with its members and its audience. Approximately 55 musicians of all ages will play in the inaugural concert.

The concert is sponsored by the Redlands High School Instrumental Music Department.
